Acceptance all of our terms and conditions: Upon submitting an application form or enrolling with us, the applicant, their legal guardian or agent accepts all of our Terms and Conditions.

Application form: Application Forms must be fully completed and sent to us via email. Flights details are mandatory. Any special requests or other relevant information must be included at time of booking for it to be taken into consideration.

Deposit: A deposit of 350 Euros per person is required on booking. Application forms received with no deposit will not be processed. All deposits are non-refundable.

Course Availability: All courses are subject to availability and demand. Applicants have not been accepted on a particular course until they receive a written confirmation from us. If a course falls below the minimum number of participants it may be cancelled. If a course is cancelled during your stay another course will be offered at no additional cost.

Sufficient numbers for a complete class: In some cases there might not be sufficient numbers for a complete class at a particular level. In such cases the participants will be individually assessed and split into their nearest suitable level available.

Right to cancel arrangements: We reserve the right to cancel arrangements if terms and conditions are not met. We reserve the right to cancel programmes that are not filled. Any participants in breach of our rules or regulations may be sent home before the course ends and at their own expense. We cannot be held responsible for cancellations due to Act of God, health or personal problems.

Cancellations: All cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations received within 15 to 28 days of the arrival date will receive a refund of 75% of the fees paid. Cancellations received within 8 to 14 days of the arrival date will receive a refund of 50% of the fees paid. Cancellations received within 7 days of the arrival date will receive a refund of 25% of the fees paid. Under no circumstances will any course fees be refunded once the participant has commenced their contracted course of study. All deposits are non-refundable.

Rates: We reserve the right to alter rates. In such cases the alterations will be published on our website and affected parties notified.

Payment: Payment in full in Euro must reach our account 28 days prior to the participants arrival. Services will only be provided when payment is received in full. Any bank charges incurred must be paid by the sender.

National holidays: There will be no refund of classes missed due to national holidays.

Special offers: Special offers cannot be accumulated. All offers are subject to availability. There will be no changes made to bookings that have been received prior to the promotion. All offers and promotions will be applied at the time of booking. Discounts that became available after the first enrolment are not valid.

Programme participants Liability: Programme participants are liable for any damage they cause. Payment for such damage must be made immediately.

Optional: Any optional extras to the programme must be requested in writing and paid for in full within 4 weeks of the intended start date. Any special requests or requirements regarding student needs, host families or excursions must be indicated at the time of booking.

Extras: All extras are subject to availability. It is advised that programme participants book them as early as possible. In the case of public/private transfers, no accommodation details will be provided until programme participants have indicated their desire for a public transport ticket or private transfers.

Airport transfers: Airport transfers can only be arranged when flight information (location, date, time and flight number) is received via the dedicated field of the application form. We cannot take responsibility for transfers unless this procedure is followed. In the event that a programme participant misses their flight we must be told at the earliest possible time. Failure to do so will result in the full fee being charged.

Change host family: A fee of 150 Euros must be paid if a programme participant insists on moving to a different host family without due cause. This must be paid before moving.

Pets: Any requests regarding no pets in the host family may not be facilitated unless a serious allergy is present. We may request doctor’s proof of such allergies.

Insurance: Before arrival to the elected destination, all persons participating in our programmes must arrange their own insurance against all expenses that might arise due to accident, illness or loss of luggage, personal effects and money. Us and our host families are not liable in the event of such occurrences. The camps will operate on the highest safety standards. IELKS shall not be responsible for any illness, disease, accident, or loss of property unless occasioned by the wilful act of negligence on the part of the camp or its staff.

Health and diet: We must be advised of any health problems or specific dietary requirements of participants at the time of booking. If a student is sick and needs medical attention, our Supervisor will help with making appointments etc. Please note that it is very unusual for a doctor to visit any centre and any trips made to the doctor, dentist or hospital will have to be paid for by the students.

Visiting: Parents are only admitted to visit the camp upon our approval, during designated check-in and check-out days times. It is disruptive to the camper, other campers and the camp program when well-meaning parents “drop by” to visit their child.

Our Conditions: Our conditions do not apply to partner schools or other organisations worked with. Each partner school /organisation has its own conditions.

Promotional materials: Programme participants should be aware that they may appear in our promotional materials such as brochures, website or photos.

Certificate re-issue: Fee of 70 Euros must be paid for Certificate re-issue

Replacement of Lost, stolen or damaged id card or passport: A replacement fee of 150 Euros plus expenses is charged for a lost, stolen or damaged id card or passport.

Personal Belongings: Although we will make any effort to help the players find what they may have lost, they are fully responsible for any personal belongings left behind.
TERMS OF BUSINESS when Leadership ACT acts as accelerator for ED
Leadership ACT is the accelerator for ED project and it is trading under its name as Leadership ACT.
Please read these Terms of Business carefully. By signing the enrolment form you acknowledge you have read and understood these Terms of Business and agree to be bound by same.
CHANGES TO TERMS OF BUSINESS
Leadership ACT as accelerator for the ED project.
Leadership ACT acts as a booking agent for the relevant supplier of any language course or programme that we sell. As an agent, Leadership ACT promotes and sells language programmes including accommodation and ancillary services offered by the language schools and language programme providers. Leadership ACT retains the right to accept, dismiss, decline or retain any student as a participant in the programme at any time before, during, or after the program for any reason whatsoever and without any liability for refund.
COURSES
Classes at our partner language schools run from Monday to Friday, except on public holidays. Classes can be between 45 and 60 minutes and the exact lesson length is according to the selected language school’s course details which can be found on the IELS website specific language programmes or agreed, prior to payment, by email .
ACCOMMODATION
There is no such thing as a typical host family and there is no guarantee that the host family will have a student of the similar age of the participating student or if they do that that they will attend the same school. Host families are carefully chosen by our partner language schools and can be a married couple or single person, with or without children. Host families can offer either ‘Bed and Breakfast’ (B+B) half board (breakfast and dinner) or full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner) according to what is specified by the information provided by the selected language school. Please check the course details for further information. Specific dietary requirements (Coeliac, Lactose Intolerant, Vegetarian, Vegan etc) may be available by request and are subject to a supplement and must be indicated on the enrolment form. BOOKINGS
- To make a booking, the client must provide Leadership ACT with a completed and signed enrolment form which is accompanied by a booking deposit. The booking deposit can be paid by bank transfer or cheque or using an online payment gateway.
- Leadership ACT will inform the client in writing within 48 hours if their booking has been confirmed by the selected language provider.
- The client will receive an invoice for the final balance which is due 4 weeks prior to departure.
- Accommodation details will be confirmed to the client as soon as Leadership ACT receives the details from our partner language providers.
- Travel details should be forwarded to Leadership ACT at least 2 weeks prior to departure.
- Should your booking be declined by the Language School, Leadership ACT will refund you the deposit within 5 working days.
TRAVEL AND TRANSFERS
Some language programmes include return airport transfers, others can provide a transfer subject to a fee. Transfers should be pre-booked with Leadership ACT at least 2 weeks prior to departure.
INFORMATION
Leadership ACT is not responsible for any mistakes or omissions in the information provided to Leadership ACT by the Language Schools and used by Leadership ACT in advertising and selling the language courses, accommodation and/or ancillary services offered by the Language Schools.
PAYMENT
CHANGES TO BOOKINGS
Students may amend their booking at the discretion of Leadership ACT, provided changes are requested within 28 days of travel. Any changes will incur a charge of €75.

CANCELLATION BY THE STUDENT
- Cancellation must be made in writing to the Leadership ACT office. The day that notification is received in writing by the Leadership ACT office is the official cancellation day (“Cancellation date”) and the cancellation provisions laid out below will apply.
- All cancellations incur a loss of deposit. In addition, the following charges apply and are payable to Leadership ACT by the student.
- Cancellation up to working 84 days before the start of the course: loss of deposit only.
- Cancellation between 83 and up to 56 working days before the start of the course: Deposit + 10% of the remaining cost of the course and accommodation.
- Cancellation between 55 and 31 working days before the start of the course: Deposit + 25% of the remaining cost of the course and accommodation.
- Cancellation between 30 and 15 working days before the start of the course: Deposit + 30% of the remaining cost of the course and accommodation.
- Cancellation between 14 and 7 working days before the start of the course: Deposit + 50%
- Cancellation between 6 and 1 working days before the start of the course: 100% of the remaining balance of the course and accommodation.
- No refund shall be given after the day of departure or start of the course.

Leadership ACT will only collect and use your personal and non-personal information in accordance with the Privacy Statement.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms of Business are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Republic of Ireland without prejudice to the right of Leadership ACT to take proceedings before any court of competent jurisdiction.
LIABILITY
Leadership ACT By signing the enrolment form the client agrees to waive and release Tribe Study Abroad from any and all claims, damages and/or costs of whatever kind whether legal, equitable or otherwise, that they may have now or in the future that may arise out of or that are related in any way to my enrolment on a language programme or language course without limitation any lost, stolen or damaged property, financial or economic loss and or bodily injuries to myself or third parties. In no event shall Tribe Study Abroad be liable for indirect, consequential, special exemplary or punitive penalties of any nature arising out of related claims of breach of any terms of the Agreement, breach of warranty, express or implied or negligence. The client agrees to indemnify Tribe Study Abroad, its servants or agents from any and all claims resulting from the client’s breach of any provisions of this agreement or any act, omission, error or negligence by the client while participating in the programme.
DEFINED TERMS
In this Terms and Conditions:
‘Cookie Policy’ means the Cookie Policy on the Website.
‘Deposit’ means €300 for bookings made with Leadership ACT.
‘Language Courses’ means the language courses offered, organised, managed and run by the Language Schools.
‘Language Programme’s means High School programmes/Homestay Immersion.
